About Me
My background is in health, wellbeing and employment support, having worked as a fitness instructor, physiotherapy assistant and employment adviser. Across these roles, I recognised a common theme: while people often came seeking practical support, it was frequently the emotional and psychological challenges that were having the greatest impact on their wellbeing. I became increasingly interested in understanding these experiences and supporting people in a more holistic way, which ultimately led me to train as a counsellor.
I am an integrative person-centred trainee counsellor, and have experience working with clients in a school counselling placement. I aim to offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences at their own pace. I believe that meaningful change comes from feeling heard, understood and accepted, and I value building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy and collaboration.
Outside of counselling, I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking and travelling, all of which help me maintain balance and support my own wellbeing. I am committed to ongoing personal and professional development and continue to reflect on my practice to provide the best possible support for my clients.
